ben folds five is awesome bc their different. they don't even have a guitarist. ben folds is probably one of the craziest pianists i've seen. when he plays, its crazy, and slamming on the piano, and i love it. i wish i could play uncle walter

ok... i haven't heard much of this guys music... yet. i'm working on it. jim introduced his music to me about 6 months ago, and went to see him at some bar downtown. i wasn't too impressed w/ his music until i heard curbside prophet. its a simple guitar part, but that song is amazing. now, after playing at a bar 6 months ago, he's got a video on mtv. nice pick jim. the songs i've heard so far are fairly simple, but nice. his lyrics are good, and i like when he does his la da da stuff in his songs. i want that shirt he has too. ok... its been a while now, and i've heard most of his songs. his live cd kicks ass, he's like the exact opposite of mayer, guitar wise, but lyrcially, they're similar. what's w/ the rooster though?

jim isn't on here bc he's my cousin. he's got some good sounds and lyrics. when i give his cd out, no one knows or believes he's my cousin that i play ping pong and pool w/ every sunday. whoever helped him write/produce poison ivy and six fingered sam should help him re-produce the rest of his album.
